I've finally gotten around to uploading the newest Characters! Sorry that it took so long for those of you who were waiting.

So a week or so ago it was brought to my attention that we were getting a weird-o error just above our news feed. 

Well, the folks over at Fusion News didn't/wouldn't/couldn't help me.. so I went and fixed it myself!! Not going to go into the messy details, but at least it's working again.

Things around RR are still a bit slow, but rest assured that there are a lot of things going on behind the scenes. We are also about to welcome some new members!

I would like to appoligize in advance for the entire RR staff for our lack of participation. It's amazing how much family/wedding planning/moving/work deadlines can take our time away from us. But we do promise to try our best to be more active in chat!

In case anyone has been wondering, no I'm not dead. Just insanely busy with work, and the prospect of moving to a different state.

Kenny is still very much active, and working with Chris to get some really amazing new things put together! 

(I've seen them.. they're great!)

Anyway, I just want everyone to know that I am still around. Just a bit busy. If you have any questions or concerns about anything I'm still available via email, txt, and facebook. As I'm sure the boys are too.

We have decided to scrap the quests. Since no one has started any yet, we hope it won't be too much of a heartache.

Instead we will have missions. These can be done to raise reputation and skill (skill is another new thing you can raise, will be added to the bios shortly). You can start to read up on how these will work now. Currently there are no missions just yet, but keep an eye open 'cause they can pop up at any time!

For anyone wondering what happened to the Stat System or the Death Guide, you can find both inside of the RP Guide! They have been merged together for easier reading. 

There is also another new suprise in store for you guys, but I'll get into more detail about that as it gets developed further. 

There was a temporary error on the join page. The service we use for our forms found it's domain disabled. Thankfully they found a solution to this, and we have used it to fix our form. 

So for anyone who tried to submit a form today and wasn't able to, we're sorry. But you should be able to do so now. 

Kenny has been working hard behind the scenes. We have a new page now under information. You can now find out about the hierarchies of the various political groups on Rea, and how each are gained.

This ties hand-in-hand with a new feature on everyone's character bios. You can now earn reputation! There will be more information about how reputation works, how it's earned, and how it's lost soon. But for now, please enjoy the new information!

If you've been wondering when you'd ever see discriptions of the current cities on the world map, guess what? We have them!

Our staff member, Matt, has been working hard to give us discriptions of the current hot spots on Rea. If you look on our World Map page, you can now read full discriptions and details about each city and other major locations. Keep in mind that our map has just barely been uncovered. The further we progress through the story, the more of the map will be revealed! And there is sooo much in store.

It's also great to announce that story has been progressing. If you happen to miss the action, we do try to keep small updates on what is happening in the government and rebellion on the forums. Also, if you haven't introduced yourself yet you should stop by the forums and do so! Yeah, most of us know eachother, but there are some new faces who I'm sure would love to learn who everyone is!

It's been noticeably slow in the chat room this month. It's clear that work and the start of new class semesters is hitting hard. Add that to a few MIA staff members and you get a nice icky muck of lack of spirit and motivation.

But there is light on the horizon! I've made a goal that w/in the next few weeks things are going to pick up! I am working hard on a couple great story points that I want to hit by the end of February.

Also, some of you may have gotten an email from the staff. This was sent to everyone that has a character bio, but has not been seen in chat. Now, of course we don't expect people to live here. But to be fair, other people who may have started story lines with you would like the chance to continue them. This also includes people who want to start questing. It's a little impossible to do if only 2 or 3 members are making frequent appearances. And as staff, I can't get myself tied up in quests on top of playing my PCs and NPCs.

Our member, Brimstone, has taken the initiative by trying to branch out to other social networking sites in hopes to draw in members. This is great! I love the enthusiasm and loyalty!  And because of such an action, I am offering 1 special item to any member who can bring in a new member. This member has to be on at least once a week, so to keep the story flowing. And if this condition is met, the member that found them will receive 1 special item. (could be a weapon, piece of armor, enchanted item, etc.)

So just to let everyone know, there are plans to keep things moving. It's time to get this ball rolling!!

*** Member Brimstone has been removed from the site. This was a voluntary action on his part. He had conflicting opinions about staff and other members and this has been dealt with. He is now happy to call another RP Forum his home, and we are happy to move on without him.

Some of you may have noticed yesterday that we were speaking out against SOPA/PIPA by blacking out out site for 24hrs.

If these bills were to pass, then sites like this one will be shut down! We use a lot of images from other sources, and advertise ourselves and other sites. Even using our chat client and forums would be considered violations. These new bills will bring an end to sites like this. So please, if you don't want that to happen please speak up!
